Many of our clients have been asking lately about the extra costs for under mounted sinks.
Builders charge more for these installations due to the extra works involved.

The under mount sinks cost between $400-$500 in comparison to the standard surface mounted sink which costs around $280. The other extra cost is the cutting and finishing of the stone which can range from $500 to $800. 

So you should expect to pay around an extra $820+ for an under mount sink.

Tiling made easier

A new product to make laying tiles level is on the market and watching one of our tilers the other day with a tiling aid. The aid is a levelling clip and what a great idea they have been around since 2014 known as the Tuscan Seam clip and what a system it is. When butting the tiles up you place a clip under the tile and then press the clip together, this then forces the tiles to become even on the surface leaving a perfectly level surface.
